Telangana's Ex-Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Admitted to Hospital Following a Fall
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) suffered
a fracture after falling in his farmhouse on Thursday night. According to
Hyderabad's Yashoda Hospital, the former Chief Minister of Telangana, K.
Chandrashekhar Rao, underwent successful left hip replacement surgery on Friday
after falling and fracturing his hip on Thursday. "In their latest health
update issued during the weekend, Yashoda Hospital reported detailed
information about sir. Johnson's progressive recovery". Rao underwent a
scheduled operation for the left total hip replacement." They mentioned,
"He tolerated the surgery well and remained hemodynamically stable
throughout the entire process."
The hospital mentioned that post-surgery, Rao has
been shifted to a room and is recovering well. The usual recovery period is
expected to be around six to eight weeks. At Yashoda Hospital, a group of
accomplished orthopaedic surgeons and other medical specialists carried out the
procedure.
He is receiving regular post-operative care including
intravenous fluids, prophylactic antibiotics, and pain management medications.

BTRS leader Dasoju Sravan said, "The surgery

Chandrashekhar Rao Garu slipped and fell in the
bathroom of his
residence, after which he was brought to Yashoda Hospital,
Somajiguda, for further care. After an evaluation, including a CT scan, it was
discovered that he had suffered a fracture in his left hip (intracapsular neck
of femur fracture). He will require replacement of the left hip, and the usual
course of recovery in such cases is expected to be six to eight weeks,"
said his son and BTRS leader K.T. Rama Rao.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister and BJP State
President G. Kishan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan
Reddy, TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, and other leaders expressed concern over
Rao's injury and wished him a speedy recovery.
